WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Children's Ministry of Seaford Baptist Church has a desire to show all children the love of Jesus. Our mission is to seek and save lost children, praying for their decision to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

To meet these objectives, we will provide a Christ-focused, safe and loving environment in which children can study and worship. It will be child-targeted and will work to present a creative disciple-making experience that teaches biblical truths that are relative to children's lives. We will be parent-partnered in nurturing and instructing children, planting seeds of faith in non-believers and growing believers to become fully devoted followers of Christ. 

ACTIVITIES

AWANA: During the school year, children and students (pre-K through Grade 12) are taught the Gospel and engaged in discipleship. Through games, Scripture memorization and counsel time, children learn to apply God's Word to their lives. Pre-K through Grade 5 meet on Sundays from 4pm-6pm. Grade 6-Grade 12 meet on Sundays from 6pm-8pm.

Upward Basketball: Upward is a recreational basketball program for children in Grades 1-8. The season begins in November and ends with an award night in March. Every child practices for one hour weekly and plays in eight games per year. Registration begins in September. 

Vacation Bible School: VBS is our annual summer outreach during which children learn the Gospel, participate in missions and have fun. VBS is for 3 years old through Grade 6. 

Kids Praise (K-4th Grade) and Wee Praise (Pre-K): High energy, disciple-making worship experiences for children that take place during our 10am worship service.

GrowthPoint: Each Wednesday night at 6:30pm. There are discipleship activities for children of all ages.
